Hey, I am using Itunes with a laptop. I have an external drive with most of my music on it, and I also have some music on the internal harddrive of my computer. Can I have more than one library with Itunes? Hit me back.
Well, what you can do is separate your music into playlists. Itunes keeps all of your music in one place then if you want, create playlists with the music from your internal drive and your external. Take the music from the music source list, move it to the playlist, then it'll work. That's the only thing I can think of for what your asking.
yes you can keep multiple folders with m your music library in iTunes under file menu add folder is the way to point it to whatever folders have your music in it .. also you can set the defaul music library folder in th epreferences as well
If you add folder, its still going to add it in to the itunes music in the sources view unless I've got something wrong.
